NO PURCHASE OR OBLIGATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR CLAIM A PRIZE.
NON-PURCHASE ENTRIES AND PURCHASE ENTRIES HAVE AN EQUAL CHANCE OF WINNING.
Sweepstakes Period:
The Citi ProCamps Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 9:00:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on July 14, 2014, and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on September 25, 2014 ("Sweepstakes Period"). For purposes of this Sweepstakes, a “day” is defined as a 24-hour period, beginning at 12:00:00 AM ET and ending at 11:59:59 PM ET except for the first day of the Sweepstakes where a day is defined as beginning at 9:00:00 AM ET and ending at 11:59:59 PM ET. The Sponsor’s computer, or that of its designee, runs the official clock for the Sweepstakes and will solely determine the time by which an entry is received.
Eligibility:
Sweepstakes is open to all citizens and legal residents or resident aliens of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (“D.C.”) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry with a valid U.S. taxpayer identification number (“Entrant”). Non-resident aliens are not eligible to win. Employees and consultants of Citibank N.A (“Sponsor”), ProCamps, Publicis Modem, and any of their respective parent companies, related subsidiaries and affiliated companies, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies including Marden-Kane, Inc (“Administrator”) and each of their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses regardless where they live) and individuals living in the same households of the above, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win a prize. Each entrant by participating in the Sweepstakes agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

How To Enter:
To enter the Sweepstakes you’ll first need to become a registered user of www.Twitter.com ("Twitter"), or log into your Twitter account, and become a follower of @CitiPrivatePass. If you do not have an account, go to www.twitter.com to create one. Twitter accounts are free. By submitting your information and creating an account, you agree to the Twitter terms of use and privacy notice. If you do not agree to these and Twitter’s terms of use and privacy notice, you cannot create a Twitter account, or participate in this Sweepstakes.
To Enter:
At any point during the Sweepstakes Period, send a tweet from a single Twitter account that conforms to the Entry Requirements.
Entry Requirements:
- Tweet must include two hashtags, #closertopro and #sweeps, and must also tag @CitiPrivatePass. Tweet must be limited to no more than 140 characters (including spaces and symbols).
- Tweet must be sent from one Twitter account only. Multiple accounts may not be used and anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter will be ineligible.
- Entrant must remain a follower of @CitiPrivatePass until fifteen (15) days after the end of the promotion so they can be contacted via direct message.
Limit one (1) entry per person/Twitter account per day. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same Twitter account. Any attempt by any entrant to submit more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different Twitter accounts, identities, or any other method will void that entrant's entry and that entrant may be disqualified. Entries that do not comply with these Official Rules, as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion, will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. If the Sponsor determines that the content of the entry is obscene, offensive, or inappropriate, the entry will not be eligible for any prize consideration and may be withdrawn from the Sweepstakes at any time at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
The name of the person submitting the entry must be the authorized account holder of such Twitter account, otherwise the entry may be deemed void. In the event of a dispute over the identity of a potential winner, the entry will be declared made by the authorized holder of the Twitter account used for entry, and potential winner may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that he/she is the authorized account holder of such Twitter account. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the Sponsor in writing if the entrant changes his or her Twitter account during the Sweepstakes Period. Proof of submission of entry does not constitute proof of delivery of entry. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned to Entrant. Each entry submission must be manually key stroked and manually entered by the individual Entrant; automated and/or repetitive electronic submission of entries (including, but not limited to, entries made using any script, macro, bot or sweepstakes service) will be disqualified, all associated entries will be void, and transmissions from these accounts or related e-mail or IP addresses may be blocked.
Random Drawing:
A random drawing to select one (1) Grand Prize winner will be conducted on or about September 26, 2014 from among all eligible entries received by the end date by the Administrator, who is an independent judging organization and whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
Winner Notification and Verification:
The Sponsor will contact potential Grand Prize Winner via private message to the potential Grand Prize Winner's Twitter Account on or about September 27, 2014. The potential Prize Winner will be required to respond to the direction in the message within 24 hours with full contact information. Potential winner will be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and Declaration of Compliance; where legal, a Publicity Release (collectively the “Affidavit”) which must be returned within Twenty Four (24) hours of prize notification date or the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate potential winner, time permitting. In the event that any potential Prize Winner cannot be contacted, or any requested information is not received within the requested time period, the potential Prize Winner will be disqualified and an alternate Prize Winner may be selected time permitting and at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Failure to timely return any documents requested, return of prize notification as undeliverable, or noncompliance with these Official Rules will result in such potential Winner being disqualified. Sponsor shall have no further obligation to that potential Winner, and an alternate Winner will be selected.
Prize/Odds:
One (1) Grand Prize: a ProCamp experience for the winner’s child. Prize includes:
- Coach roundtrip airfare for up to four (4) people{two (2) adults and two (2) children under eighteen years of age};
- hotel accommodations (one standard room) for 2 nights;and
- one (1) half-day ProCamp sports session for one (1) child to attend a 2015 summer ProCamp of winner’s choice (based on availability). Complete details of ProCamp to be furnished with prize notification.
Total ARV of prize: $3,000.
All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Grand Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. No cash equivalents, transfers or substitution of prize permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Winners and guests must comply with all venue rules and regulations; failure to do so may result in forfeiture of such applicable portion of the Prize. Prize may not be transferred or sold unless Sponsor, in its sole discretion, gives prior written permission. For tax purposes, the prizes’ value will be treated as miscellaneous income and may be reported to the IRS on Form 1099-MISC in the year(s) in which the prize is received. Winner is responsible for the payment of all taxes on the prize. In no event will more prizes be awarded than those listed in these Official Rules. Decisions of the Sponsor and/or Administrator will be final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of non-suspect, eligible entries received.
Additional conditions of Grand prize trip:
- The Grand Prize will be forfeited if:
- The proper travel documents are not obtained by the winner by the date specified by Sponsor.
- Ground transportation to/from winner’s home/departure airport, transportation to/from airport/hotel and transportation to/from hotel to ProCamp is NOT included in the prize and are the responsibility of the winner.
- Winner and guests’ must possess and are responsible for obtaining and must have valid ID or other required documentation for travel.
- Winner and guests must not have any medical, legal or any other reason that would prevent them from taking the prize.
- If guest includes a minor, such minor must be the child or legal ward of the winner, or the minor’s parent or guardian must provide written consent for such minor to participate in the Grand Prize.
- Winner and guests are responsible for obtaining any travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) that they may wish to obtain at their own expense and hereby acknowledges that the Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance.
- Winner is bound by the terms and conditions of the ProCamp and all airlines, hotels and other third party service providers used in connection with the Prize.
- Sponsor is not responsible if tickets, travel vouchers, certificates or other similar items are lost, stolen, or misplaced by Winner and will not be replaced or if booked transportations are missed for any reason.
- The Grand Prize does not include any other incidentals not mentioned in these Official Rules such as, but not limited to, ground transportation, special seating assignments, baggage fees, alcoholic beverages, food, gratuities and tips, insurance, laundry service, merchandise, parking, room service, service charges, souvenirs and telephone calls. All other expenses not stated herein as part of the prize are the winner’s sole responsibility.
- Exact dates and locations are subject to change, and are at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Actual value of the trip depends on winner’s residence or departure city. Specifics of prize package are subject to availability and Sponsor’s sole discretion. Complete terms and conditions of trip will be furnished with prize notification. Other restrictions may apply.
- Airline tickets issued in conjunction with the prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles, and no code share flights may be used. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. The Winner or the Guest must provide the hotel with a valid credit card for incidentals (including room service, mini-bar and pay-per-view television) and/or damages to the hotel room.
- If a Grand Prize winner lives within a 150 mile radius of city where the ProCamp is taking, ground transportation may be provided by Sponsor in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value.
- In the event the ProCamp has to be canceled for any reason whatsoever, in whole or in part, including but not limited to cancellations, postponements, an event of force majeure, or for any other reason, then the remaining components of the Prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsor’s prize obligation to the prize winner and his/her guest/travel companion, and no other or additional compensation will be awarded.
- Grand Prize winner will not receive cash or any other form of compensation if actual travel costs are less than the estimate made in these Official Rules.
Publicity Grant:
Except where legally prohibited, by acceptance of a prize, the winner grants permission for Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, his/her child’s name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, in any manner, worldwide in perpetuity, without notice or review or approval.
Conditions of Entry:
Use of any automated entry software is prohibited. Electronically reproduced, mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete or inaccurate entries are void. By participating, entrants agree to comply with these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements. In case of a dispute as to the owner of an online entry, online entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder from which the entry is made. Sponsor, NYC Bike Share, LLC, Publicis Modem and their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, Marden-Kane, Inc., Twitter, Inc., and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, representatives and agents (collectively “Releasees”) are not responsible for: (i) incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human, typographical or printing errors, (ii) technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or web site, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes, (iii) or for late, lost, stolen, illegible, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, undelivered, delayed or misdirected entries for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, or process any transaction thereon, (iv) errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes related materials. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If, in the Administrator’s opinion there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of this Sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of this Sweepstakes, the Administrator reserves the right to disqualify any individual (and void his/her entry and/or prevent him/her from future entry), and/or who tampers with the entry process and/or who is acting in violation of these Official Rules modify or cancel or terminate this Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, at any time without notice and award the prizes in a random drawing from among all non-suspect eligible entries received as of the termination date. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY ONLINE SERVICE OR WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND/OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. Sponsor reserves the right to modify prize award procedures at their discretion.
Disputes and Limitation of Liability:
By participating in the Sweepstakes, except where prohibited, entrants agree: [1] to release, indemnify and hold harmless Releasees and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions and any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or nonuse of the prize (including any travel or travel-related activity thereto) that may be awarded;[2] any and all disputed, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by within the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York or the appropriate New York State Court located in Queens County, New York;[3] any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorney’s fees;and [4] under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. This Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without regard to its principles of conflicts of law. Releasees are not responsible for technical, computer, mechanical, printing, typographical, human or other errors relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes related materials;or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, undelivered, delayed or illegible entries or;for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, or process any transaction thereon.
Privacy:
Information collected from entrants is used only for the purpose of the prize drawings and to notify Winners, and will not be re-used, sold or shared in any manner by Sponsor or any third parties unless entrant has opted-in to receive additional information and marketing or promotional material from Sponsor or a third party. Any information provided shall be used by Sponsor in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at http://www.mardenkane.com/privacy-policy-3.
Who Won:
To request the names of the winner, send an e-mail with the subject line: "Citi ProCamps" to winners@mkpromosource.com. Requests must be received no later than October 25, 2014. The list will be sent when the drawing has been conducted and the winner verified.
